MMXC to PS2 and GCN?

Not that there was too much doubt, but according to The Magic Box, it sounds like Mega Man X Collection is going to see life on both the Playstation 2 and GameCube consoles.
Reputable though they may or may not be, it is still perhaps best to view this news as tentative for the time being, until Capcom takes it upon themselves to offer an official press release regarding available formats for the collection.

MMX Collection On All 3 Consoles?
Posted by LBD_Nytetrayn on 02-06-2005 00:18

Minor update to the Mega Man X Collection news, though it's not a huge one, but enough to raise a little interest.
Thanks to Jaxel, we've found out that video game webzine IGN has the collection listed as being slated for all three major consoles, the GameCube, XBox, and Playstation 2. In addition, GameSpy has also made a similar listing, but since they are a part of IGN, that may be the sole basis upon which it was listed. Click for Full Story

Game Informer Provides MMXC Trailer
Posted by LBD_Nytetrayn on 02-04-2005 23:28

|
Following up on our story from earlier today, Rodrigo Shin and Maverick Virus have informed us that video game webzine Game Informer has posted the trailer for Mega Man X Collection from the Capcom event in Las Vegas today.
Looking at the trailer, it appears that a console has yet to be specified, but that the collection will indeed include all of the pre-PS2 Mega Man X games, as well as Mega Man Battle & Chase, as noted earlier. Other bonuses are not known at this time, and judging from the video, it appears that the Xtreme games will not be included in this package, nor will the version of Mega Man X3 used be the anime-enhanced Playstation version(of course, this early on, anything is subject to change).
As always, The Mega Man Network will bring you more details on this upcoming release as they become available.

Many Mega Man fans will remember, or should remember, the recent release of the Mega Man Anniversary Collection for PS2 and GameCube (with an XBox version due out this spring), which featured the first eight Classic series titles, as well as the two arcade games. After news of this broke, many wondered if Capcom was to make one for the newly-revived X series. Click for Full Story

We present to you the new Mega Man BB! We have decided to go ahead and open the forums, although they are still somewhat incomplete. Coding and design issues plaguing us are a bit harrowing, and I've decided that we can go ahead and fix them while the forum is already in use. The links in all the page indexes and menus have been updated for the new link, and all news submissions will point to the new news board. Be sure to read the Rules, as they've been updated a bit, and check out this introduction to the forums! Click for Full Story

I know there has been word that I would dish out the Valentines Day Art Contest guidelines but I had to await on Iris as well as get a few personal matters sorted out. But currently hosted on the Nights.nu Forums (NNF) are the guidelines for this very contest, for it is still on! So arm yourselves with your mediums and get to work. I'll be looking for entries on a Chaotastic standard. Rock on.
